The Chairman stated her preference for the original map layout as presented last <br /> year whereby the Industrial Trade Center and Other be reverted to a Resource Protection <br /> Area. <br /> The Town Planner inquired about the process for making changes to the map. <br /> Ms. McElroy explained that the map is to be adopted with the Regional Policy <br /> Plan this fall. Many of the towns will not have endorsed a map at this point, so the <br /> expectation is to return to the Assembly of Delegates on a semi-annual basis,at which <br /> point new towns would be included as they endorse their maps,or to make changes <br /> thereto as a town deems appropriate. <br /> There being no further Board or Staft"discussion the Chairman entertained a <br /> motion. <br /> MOTION: Dennis Balzarini made a Motion in support of the original (green <br /> Resource Protection Area)map, as presented and voted by the Planning Board last year; <br /> which Motion was duly seconded by Thomas O'Hara. <br /> Voting in the Affirmative: Beverly Kane, Dennis Balzarini,Thomas O'Hara, and <br /> Joseph Mullin. <br /> Abstaining from the Vote: James Leonard. <br /> Public Hearing <br /> Willowbend Country Club, Inc. <br /> Approval of Special Permit Modification-62 Townhouse Condominiums <br /> The appointed hour having arrived the Chairman called the Public Hearing to <br /> order and recognized Attorney McElhinney, representing the Applicant. <br /> Attorney McElhinney introduced Matthew Eddy, Baxter and Nye; Wayne <br /> Jacques, Architect; and David Wood,Chief Operating Officer-Willowbend. <br /> Attorney McElhinney provided a brief overview of the matter explaining that the <br /> application was originally filed in April, seeking approval for 6 -additional townhouse <br /> type units on approximately I I-acres of the Willowbend site, He made reference to a <br /> map indicating the location directly behind the existing clubhouse, along Simons Road <br /> which is unpaved, dirt,ancient public way; and along a portion of the 18'h fairway <br /> adjacent to the existing townhouses. <br /> The proposed property is currently permitted for 12-single family homes. One <br /> single family home currently exists on the property; an additional 8-lots have previously <br /> been approved by the Planning Board as part of the Fin "Me Cot Subdivision with <br /> additional acreage which would support three additional homes.
