We thank the following retirees for their renovation project. Work began on June 6th with a <br /> outstanding service to the children of Mashpee: Sandra projected completion date of late Fall 2022.We are so <br /> Alberico (34 years), Joanne Arnold (17 years), Susan lucky to live in a connected community that greatly <br /> Bryant (21 years),Amy Campbell (21 years), Shawn values its children and that works collaboratively and <br /> Chicoine (20 years), Mary Crimmins (29 years), proactively to ensure that our children are provided <br /> Ellen DeMello (22 years), Gail Hannan (20 years), with the best opportunities and facilities. <br /> Daniel Leader (14 years), Sean O'Connor (19 years), <br /> Kimberly Palmer (33 years), Jacqueline Rastallis (21 With the support of the Capital Improvement <br /> Planning Committee, our Town of Mashpee voters, <br /> years),Gustav Stickley (10 years),Ellen Waechter(20 <br /> years),and Sean Withington (12 years). and the Mashpee Department of Public Works, we <br /> were able to upgrade each school's campus to include <br /> As we began the 2021-2022 school year in three flag poles, one for the United State of America <br /> September, we were all feeling optimistic for a much flag, one for the State of Massachusetts flag, and one <br /> improved, "return-to-normal" post-pandemic school for the Mashpee Wampanoag Tribal flag. A flag raising <br /> year, having experienced a somewhat worry-free ceremony was held in the fall of 2021 at each school <br /> summer. Although we were no longer required to to celebrate this long overdue recognition for the <br /> maintain six-foot distancing in our classrooms,we did Tribe. Each school's ceremony was very special and <br /> start the school year with masks being required on our prominently featured our Native American students <br /> buses and in our schools. Students were also required and Mashpee Wampanoag Tribe officials. During <br /> to sit six feet away from their peers during lunch,with the Coombs School flag raising ceremony, we also <br /> everyone facing the same direction. On February dedicated two newly installed book sharing boxes just <br /> 28th, Massachusetts lifted its state-mandated mask outside the main entrance—each dedicated to a Coombs <br /> policy for schools which meant that we were able to School Native American student who passed away— <br /> provide a"masks optional"environment in our schools Bryson Aura Hendricks and Okemos Ryan Brown. <br /> and on our buses from that point forward. Isabella is <br /> three of our school buildings. The HVAC systems <br /> the embodiment of awell-rounded student who has <br /> upgrade project was identified by a stakeholder survey <br /> as the priority project for use of ESSER funds. We are excelled academically, athletically, in co-curriculars, <br /> grateful to the Mashpee voters who voted at the May and in service to the school and to our Mashpee <br /> Special Town Meeting to support the MMHS stadium community. <br /> 161 <br />
