6/30/2021 DHCD Agreed Upon Procedures were still in process. The board reviewed Pages <br /> 27-32,plus Appendix A of the November 2016 Chapter 30B Manual Procuring Supplies, <br /> Services and Real Property, and discussed the process for selecting a new Fee Accountant. <br /> The board agreed that Fee Accountant Services were exempt services under Appendix A, 15. <br /> Mr. Shackett moved to consider Accounting Services exempt, seconded by M. LeClair. <br /> Motion Carried 4-Ayes, 0-Nays. <br /> 5. Executive Director & U dates (Board vote as needed)—Ms. Conn reviewed <br /> vacancies and unpaid rents as follows: 2-vacancies one at Asher's Path, and one upcoming at <br /> Great Cove with an expected move out date of 2/28/22. Rent arrearages for Homeyer Village <br /> are as follows, one resident that is past due is set to appear in court in March, one resident is <br /> in the hospital, and one cannot be reached. There is one resident at Breezy Way that is <br /> working with a local agency for assistance. The Draft FY-2023 Annual Plan for Public <br /> Hearing on March 24, 2022, was included in the board packet for review. <br /> 6. Old Business: Ms. Conn requested that the board hold off on implementing the new <br /> financial reporting requirements until the new Fee Accountant was in place. Ms. Meizinger <br /> moved to approve the delay in implementing the new financial reporting, seconded by <br /> Ms. LeClair. Motion Carried 4-Ayes, 0-Nays. <br /> 7. New Business: Ms. Conn presented the draft Reasonable Accommodation(R/A) Policy for <br /> the Mashpee Housing Authority, after a brief discussion; Ms. Meizinger moved to approve <br /> the R/A, seconded by Mr. Shackett. Motion Carried 4-Ayes, 0-Nays. Ms. Conn then <br /> reviewed the new Language Access Plan (LAP) Policy,the board discussed the <br /> demographics of the Town, vs. the Champ waitlist. Mr. Shackett moved to approve the <br /> LAP, seconded by Ms. Meizinger. Motion Carried 4-Ayes, 0-Nays. <br /> 8. Other Business: Ms. Conn shared a draft proof of the new Mashpee Housing Authority <br /> Logo,the board agreed the change to blue, and adjusting the font enhanced the appearance of <br /> the logo, Ms. Meizinger moved to accept the new letterhead logo, seconded by Ms. <br /> LeClair. Motion Carried 4.-Ayes, 0-Nays. <br /> 9. Corresvondence/Communications: The board discussed Mr. Shackett's intent to leave the <br /> board after his term expires in May 2022. Any interested applicant would have to pull papers <br /> from the Town and return before March 18, 2022, to be included in the May election. <br /> 10. Next Meetina Date and Time: March 24, 2022, at 5:00 PM. The March meeting will be <br /> held later in the month to combine the meeting with the Public Hearing for the FY-2023 Annual <br /> Plan. <br /> 11. Adjournment. Ms. Meizinger moved; Mr. Shackett seconded to adjourn the meeting. <br /> The motion carried, 4-Ayes 0-Nays.
