The appointed hour having arrived the Chairman opened the Public Hearing in <br />this matter. <br />The Town Planner explained that the residents of the road were unable to attend <br />the meeting, However, research found that the narrie Peters Road was, established by a <br />Town Meeting Article in March 1955, as a Town road, in memory of the late Stephen A. <br />Peters. However., the road was never laid out by the Town. Said road is known as Amy <br />Brown Road on all of the subsequent subdivision plans. V. <br />The Peters family is currently requesting the use of the name Peters Path, in <br />memory of their grandfather, The family has suggested an alternative Of Turtles Path, in <br />the event the Planning Board is reluctant to use Peters Path. <br />� <br />' , I . Dennis Balzarini made a Motion to close the Public Hearing in this <br />matter; which Niotion was duly seconded by Myrna Nucy and so voted unanimously. <br />MO-DQN; Dermis Balzarini made a Motion to change the road name from John. <br />Ewer Road to Petersllath; which Motion was duly seconded by Myrna NUcy and so <br />voted unanimously, <br />Voting in Favor: Beverly Kane, Dennis Balzarini, Myrna Nuey, Thomas O'Hara, <br />and Harvey Colien. <br />(Planning Board Member Joseph Mullin did not participate in the official Vote as <br />he was not present at the original Public Hearing) <br />Performance Guarantee <br />Cape Islands Engineering - flicks Way - Release of $,3,600.00 <br />The Town Planner informed the Board that Applicant is requesting release of the <br />Performance Guarantee -in the amount of $3.600.00, which amount was being held by the <br />Town tbr seed and loam, <br />References were made to N/1-r, Rowley's letter dated October 17, 2007 with regard <br />to this matter, "... I have inspected the construction of Hicks Way and find that it has <br />been completed in conformance with the approved subdivision plan. Grass has been well - <br />established, concrete bounds have been set, and that street sign is in place. I recommend <br />release of the security being held for completion of the project". <br />There being no further Board comment, the Chairman entertained a motion, <br />
