16 Great Neck RoadNort6i <br />Mashpee, Massachusetts 02649 <br />Accessory apartment bylaw should be re-evaluated to encourage property owners to live in the <br />accessory apartment and rent their current unit. Current language states the principal dwelling must be <br />occupied by the person on the latest recorded deed. Would like to prepare a draft article to rectify. <br />Lastly the planner reported that the second scheduled workshop for the Wetlands Buffer proposals on <br />April 4, 2023 is moving from the Waquoit Room at 5:00 PM to the Library at 5:00 PM. <br />COMMITTEE REPORTS <br />Cape Cod Commission — No Report <br />Community Preservation Committee- Applications are available for the October Town Meeting <br />funding cycle. Applications are available on the website <br />and via the Town manager's office. Waiting for Select <br />Board to execute the warrant. <br />Design Review- No Meeting <br />Plan Review- CatDogg LLC met with Plan Review however the Planner <br />has a conflict of interest and had to recuse himself from <br />Environmental Oversight Committee — <br />Historic District Commission - <br />Military Civilian Advisory Council - <br />PUBLIC COMMENT <br />-none- <br />CORRESPONDENCE <br />this matter. <br />Uncertain of status of committee. <br />Dennis will be meeting with Planner and the Chair to <br />discuss upcoming applications and a review of the rules <br />and regulations. <br />No Meeting <br />Received correspondence relative to a recent court finding that pertains to conduct during public <br />meetings. Town Counsel is reviewing and the Board needs to review and possible repeal its <br />policy. The Chair has questions for Counsel and asked for the Board to provide any questions <br />they may have for his review. The Planner will confirm counsel's question. <br />The Chair asked about the correspondence received from the FCC. The Planner reported that he is <br />receiving emails from the FCC related to a new application before them for a proposed cell <br />tower installation at the Verizon Building just north of the Mashpee Rotary. They informally <br />presented to the Board in 2022. The planner believes they are undergoing their preliminary <br />review process with federal agencies before filing a special permit application with the Planning <br />Board. <br />ADJOURNMENT <br />MOTION: <br />Mr. Balzarini makes a motion to adjourn the meeting at 8:42 p.m. Seconded by Mr. Richardson. <br />The motion carried unanimously <br />
