16 Great Neck Road North <br />'Mashpee, Nassachusetts 02649 <br />Zoning Bylaw Amendments Proposed for May 2023 Town Meeting <br />The Chair directed the Board to a public hearing notice in their packets relative to the required public <br />hearing for the zoning articles the Planning Board submitted to the Select Board for consideration in the <br />May 1, 2023 Town Meeting Warrant. The Chair noted that the public hearing was voted by the Board to <br />be held on April 19, 2023 at 7:10 PM. The Board members reviewed the draft public hearing notice and <br />no suggestions or edits were presented. The Chair further noted that on Monday, March 20 that she, <br />Ms. Faulkner and the Town Planner will deliver a PowerPoint presentation to the Select Board to <br />explain the articles submitted. <br />Local Comprehensive Plan Updates with Weston and Sampson <br />The Planner asserted to the Board that it is becoming critical for the Planning Board to reconvene and <br />make some decisions relative to the submitted draft LCP Chapters. The Planner suggested that the <br />Board independently, or jointly with him, review the draft chapters alongside the summaries of data <br />collected from workshops, community events, and the survey. <br />The Chair asked if Weston and Sampson could join us on either April 19, 2023, May 3, or May 17th. The <br />Planner is uncertain of their availability but was confident that if they are available they will make an <br />effort to appear. The Chair asked if the Planner would ask consultants at Weston and Sampson if they <br />would meet with the Board on May 17th at 5:30 PM to work toward finalizing draft chapters. Prior to that <br />meeting it was agreed that we place on an upcoming regularly scheduled meeting agenda an item for <br />discussion amongst Board members relative to the draft chapters in preparation for the May 17th <br />meeting (tentative) with Weston and Sampson <br />PUBLIC HEARING <br />Applicant: Marcello Mallegni, Forestdale Road, LLC <br />Location: 532 Main Street (Map 26, Block 6) <br />Request: The applicant requests consideration for approval of a 9 lot definitive <br />subdivision plan of land consisting of approximately 18.05 acres located on Main <br />Street (Route 130) between Nicoletta's Way and Echo Road. <br />At 7:10 PM the Chair opened up the public hearing for Marcello Mallegni (applicant) regarding <br />the matter of 532 Main Street Definitive Subdivision by reading into the record the public hearing <br />notice. This matter was continued from the meeting of December 21, 2022. <br />The Chair began by welcoming and acknowledging and welcoming the applicant who was being <br />represented by his attorney Mr. Christopher Kirrane from Dunning, Kirrane, McNichols, and <br />Garner. <br />Mr. Kirrane addressed his submitted request to continue the hearing until the meeting of May <br />17, 2023.
