Action and PossibleµA royal ofwAdding the Following to the Mai 6,µ2024 Town Meeting <br />Warrant: <br />Article to.Change the Purpose of the FY 2024 C a ital Bond for.the DPW MMasonr rvWallwRestoration and the <br />ce Station Desi�n/Enineerin; <br />The Select Board was requested to repurpose the appropriation and borrowing authorization for capital <br />improvements previously approved for the Police Department HVAC and DPW Roof Replacement in order to <br />fund the DPW Masonry Wall and Police Station Design/Engineering projects. The article will require <br />approval of a corresponding Proposition 2 '/z debt exclusion ballot question at the May 11, 2024 Annual Town <br />Election. <br />Motion made by Selectman Sherman to change the purpose of the FY2024 Capital Bond to fund the <br />DPW Masonry Wall and Police Station Design/Engineering projects. <br />Motion seconded by Selectman Wyman -Colombo. <br />VOTE: 5-0. Unanimous. <br />Roll Call Vote: <br />Selectman Cotton, yes Selectman Sherman, yes Selectman O'Hara, yes <br />Selectman Weeden, yes Selectman Wyman -Colombo, yes Opposed, none <br />Article to Extend Authorization for Mash ee„Middle-High School Parking Lot: <br />To re -authorize and extend for an additional three years, the appropriation and transfer of $350,000 from the <br />Capital Stabilization Fund for the purpose of extending the time limit of the appropriation to fund the <br />resurfacing the MMHS Parking lot as recommended by the Capital Improvement Program (CIP) Committee. <br />The project was delayed due to the solar canopy project. ` <br />Motion made by Selectman Sherman to add to the warrant of May 6, 2024, the authorization to extend <br />the appropriation for the Mashpee Middle -High School Parking Lot for final approval and <br />recommendation at the Select Board meeting of March 18, 2024. <br />VOTE: 5-0.
