Cl <br />Select Board <br />Minutes <br />April 29, 2024 <br />APPOINTMENTS & HEARINGS <br />Public Hearin, Class II Auto Dealer Change of Location Classic .. first, <br />Discussion and,,,A froval of Class II Auto Dealer Chan e of Location, Classics First 131 <br />L . .. <br />IndustrialwDrive Alan Morra: (continued) <br />When asked if there are any leaks from the tight -tank that may have raised concerns at the previous site <br />Mr. Morra stated the site has been sold, and contiminents have never been an issue. <br />Motion made by Selectman Sherman to approve the application of Alan Morra d/b/a Classics First <br />to transfer his business location from 78 Industrial Drive to 131 Industrial Drive, and modify the <br />Mass II Used Car License due to the sale of the current licensed property. <br />Motion seconded by Selectman O'Hara. <br />`NOTE: 5-0. Unanimous. <br />Roll Call Vote: <br />Selectman Cotton, yes Selectman O'Hara, yes Selectman Sherman, yes <br />Selectman Weeden, yes Selectman Wyman -Colombo, yes Opposed, none <br />DPW Director Catherine Laurent: <br />Discussion „and„A;proval of the,,,, <br />Follow* <br />Annual Transfer Station Bu jj y WasteFees: <br />ion Sticker ,.. <br />Catherine Laurent, Director of Public Works recommended the Select Board maintain the level of funding <br />of the Transfer Station by its users. Fees are recommended to adhere to the policy set forth by the Select <br />Board for Transfer Station users to fund 100% of the operation of the Transfer Station. <br />It is requested the Select Board increase the 1st household sticker fee to $250 and the 211a household sticker <br />fee to $25. The recycling sticker fee is recommended to be increased to $45, and the fee charged at the <br />gate for mattresses/box springs increased to $25. Sticker fees are the primary source of revenue. <br />Motion made by Selectman Sherman to accept the recommendation of the Director of Public Works <br />and increase the Transfer Station Sticker and Bulky Waste Fees as presented. <br />Motion seconded by Selectman O'Hara. <br />VOTE: 5-0.
