0 Select Board Minutes July 15, 2024 PUBLIC COMMENT (continued) With the issues the Town is facing with respect to wastewater, stormwater, and housing, Ms. Harris recommended the Select Board re -start group meetings to allow for the management of issues collectively. Joint meetings would enable the Town to look at the larger plan and consider solutions together. Matthew Haney, Trustee of Gooseberry Island Trust presented a draft article to the Select Board relative to the land acquisition. Mr. Haney indicated that an application has been submitted to the Community Preservation Committee for CPA funding. There was a brief comment regarding past litigation which has been dismissed. Mr. Haney has proposed the Town purchase the property under mutually agreeable terms. It was stated if the Town does not want to make progress, it is anticipated the regulatory taking claim would be refiled. LLC, Naukabout Gardens at the Commons. This is a host pop up beer garden located at the Mashpee Commons Village Common, 4 Jobs Fishing Road, Mashpee. The applicant is applying for the consecutive One Day Liquor Licenses for Beer and Wine only as a ruling is pending from the ABCC. Motion made by Selectman Wyman -Colombo to approve the One Day Liquor License Applications of Naukabout Beer Co. LLC on the dates as listed. Motion seconded by Selectman Cotton. VOTE: 5-0. Unanimous.
