L 29,2_gLn.. ��..- .� -- . ------- <br />APPOINTMENTS & HEARINGS <br />Interview, Discussion and Possible Apointmentwof thewFollowin: <br />Zoning„ Board of Al 11 Wq Associate,,, Member Term Expires June 30 2026 : Mike Milb:.zr <br />Mike Milbury, a three-year resident of the Town of Mashpee, professional athlete, coach and franchise owner <br />was in attendance to discuss his interest in serving on the Zoning Board of Appeals as an Associate Member. <br />Ron Bonvie, Chair of the ZBA was also present in support of this appointment. Mr. Milbury was noted to be <br />familiar with the Zoning Bylaws, has attended meetings and has the availability to serve on this board. <br />There was concern with respect to Policy No. 01 whereas, an individual evaluation of the candidate(s) is <br />prepared by each member on a standardized form; Preliminary Evaluation Form ranking the candidate(s) on a <br />scale of 1-5. A summary of the process using the evaluation form along with its recommendation(s) is presented <br />to the Select Board for review. <br />In this appointment, only (1) Preliminary Evaluation Form was submitted in absence of a letter of interest, <br />resume and summary/recommendation. <br />Mr. Bonvie indicated the individual has the skills and past experiences to serve on the Zoning Board of Appeals. <br />All members of the ZBA attenduig the interview voted in favor of the appointment. Mr. Bonvie, Chair of the <br />ZBA indicated he would personally obtain all forms and what is required to complete the requirements of the <br />Select Board's Appointment Policy for Boards, Commissions, Committees and Councils. It was also stated this <br />appointment is necessary for quorum purposes. In support, the Select Board acted as follows; <br />Motion made by Selectman Cotton to appoint Mike Milbury to the Zoning Board of Appeals as an <br />Associated Member with a term to expire; June 30, 2026. <br />Motion seconded by Selectman O'Hara. <br />VOTE: 5-0. Unanimous. <br />Roll Call Vote: <br />Selectman Sherman, yes Selectman Weeden, yes Selectman Wyman -Colombo, yes <br />Selectman Cotton, yes Selectman O'Hara, yes Opposed, none <br />Cultural Council Member atLarge „Term„j[ gNpkes $gptember 30 2027w1 Rochelle St. John: <br />The Select Board interviewed and discussed the interests of Rochelle St. John to service the Cultural Council as <br />a Member at Large. All necessary paperwork in adherence to Policy No. 1 was included in the application. <br />Motion made by Selectman Cotton to appoint Rochelle St. John to the Cultural Council for a term to <br />expire; September 30, 2027. <br />Motion seconded by Selectman O'Hara. <br />VOTE: 5-0.
