16 Great Neck RoadNorth
Mashpee, Massachusetts 02649
Recreation Plan. It involved a lot of open space and
recreational resources, and the needs are interconnected.
This is a huge undertaking to expand trails and bikeways,
there is extra money going towards part one of this project.
He wanted to study it and plan it and construct it for
$100,000. Our Open Space and Recreation Plan is under
development, we should take a pause to study this first. It
would connect the whole Town.
Design Review-
A tree care company wanted to get a piece of property to
store equipment, a gravel bed 55,OOOs.f. No storage or pods
allowed but storage of wood is permitted by ZBA. There is a
Tree Bylaw that came into enforcement on May 6, 2024. The
proponent cut a tree down two weeks prior.
Plan Review-
Met on the same project noted above, it was recommended
for approval but there was some general lack of clarity on
property use. They indicated a graph of one site used as
storage. A contractor yard can allow contractors to store use
and equipment. Clearing the lot prior to permitting is
something he will have to deal with under mitigation. It would
be subject to tree preservation program. He will speak with
the ZBA on who the authority is. Two trailers were removed,
satisfied with changes.
Environmental Oversight
Committee-
No Meeting
Historic District Commission-
No Meeting
ADJOURNMENT
MOTION:
Mr. Balzarini made a motion to adjourn the Planning Board meeting at 8:24PM.
Seconded by Mr. Oakley. All in favor.
Next Meeting: Wednesday, July 17, 2024 @ 7:OOPM.
