The other one
drops 45 feet from the road into wetlands, but it is not on a Town map noted as wetlands.
Ms. Waygan would like to ponder this some more, talk to the Town Manager, and put it on the
agenda.
Lynne Barbee- She feels like a broken record with Ockway Highlands and the dirt pile.
Everyone knows the huge mountain of dirt is still there. Who does one have to talk to in order
to make that go away? She is concerned about children playing or one high storm and it's all
over the road. He was ordered to remove it, but he only removed a little bit. For the people who
live there it's horrible, dangerous, and overall bad practice to let people get away with having a
mountain of dirt in a neighborhood. She also added that Old Business had the workshop, is
that to discuss orjust report on? His agreement identifies specific requirements, and your job is to agree they were
met or deny not met.
Mr. Pesce wanted to look at the site before the meeting, and the proponent has satisfied all
areas. He reseeded and the forebays on Carraige Road were added per request of DPW
Director Laurent. The seed is taking, trees were removed, and the top of the detention basins
were cleared. Everything is looking good. The dirt pile is still there but the bark mulch was
removed, and the equipment is gone. It was moved to Marstons Mills and supposedly vandals
destroyed it. Mr. Morin thought the dirt pile would be gone but a contractor let him down. The
right pile has been there so long it has started to grow grass and weeds. It rests on two
