The developer is aware and wants to get rid of it.
All items in the tripartite agreement have been satisfactorily performed. Drainage systems were updated, there is a new
curved inlet structure, maintenance was done on detention basins, final paving course, and
cluster postal boxes. Mr. Pesce stated it is a $1,500 job and Ms. Waygan suggested $2,000 to be safe.
MOTION:
Mr. Richardson made a motion to accept $2,000 cash surety submitted to the
Town of Mashpee by Ockway Highlands Realty Trust LLC and to complete Item
Number 2 from the July 15, 2024 Memo: Remaining Punchlist for Ockway
Highlands, as described by Board Engineer Ed Pesce. Seconded by Mr. Balzarini.
All in favor.
Mr. Lehrer would like a majority of Board signatures and will let the Board know where the
document will be to be notarized.
Raze and Replace Bylaw and Update on Workshop
Almost 20 residents showed up and participated. The neighborhoods represented were
Popponesset, Pirates Cove, New Seabury, John's Pond, Ashumet Pond, and Briarwood.
Karyn Leslie wrote a thank you email to everyone attaching the agenda for tonight's meeting
along with materials and a note to let the Planning Board know if they want the Board to tour
their neighborhood. Ms. Waygan advised anyone interested in a tour to reach out to Ms. Leslie
who will figure out a good time. Overall, she thought it was a great workshop.
