There is a lot <br />of money being asked for studies, engineering, more details on nitrogen management plan and <br />the location of the treatment facility. <br />August 26, 2024 Select Board Presentation <br />Presentation to Select Board on Mashpee Wakeby Pond by UMass Dartmouth studies. <br />Conservation Commission Regulations Review <br />The review of Regulation 25 prompted lots of Public Comment and participation: land subject <br />to coastal flow. It was on the Select Board agenda, and it has been added to the Planning <br />Board agenda as well. There will be a Public Hearing on Regulation 25. <br />TOWN PLANNER REPORT <br />LCP Update <br />The Draft has been provided to the Cape Cod Commission for review. Mr. Lehrer sent requests <br />to the Tribe and Historical Commission for the final information for Heritage Preservation. He <br />made a note for his successor to follow up. There is a preservation element that will need to be <br />added, authored by the Tribe relative to Wampanoag culture. <br />Harbor Management Planning Committee Update <br />Met recently but not able to provide report. <br />Housing Production Plan Update <br />No Update. <br />COMMITTEE REPORTS <br />Cape Cod Commission — One Cape Summit is being held Sept. 18th-19th. Sign up at <br />the CCC Website, there is funding to attend. <br />Charter Review Committee- August meeting canceled. They are saving trickier material <br />for the end, passing easy things now. <br />Community Preservation <br />Committee- Next meeting is August 20t". There are two active purchases: <br />Gooseberry Island and 475 Rt. 151 Nathan Ellis Highway. <br />CPC should spend money and have conceptual plans done. <br />Other than a home, this has minimal use. They will discuss <br />in Executive Session, but it cannot be purchased for more <br />
