MMna ,ement .P .an and .ia . ostic Assessment: (continued) <br />With wastewater as the larger contributor to Wakeby Pond, it was agreed stormwater runoff and cranberry <br />bogs should be addressed. <br />It was noted the alum treatment has been used in many Cape ponds for phosphorus reduction. <br />Ashley Fisher, Water Quality Coordinator recommended to review the collective sources both internal and <br />external, and highly consider the groundwater emanating from the onsite septic systems while continuing to <br />monitor and treat with alum. Grant funding initiatives will be sought to help defray the costs. <br />NEW BUSINESS <br />Certification of Hiring Process for three,,, 3 nEn m .Level Police Offcersww- Michael Pandolfa Christa�ter <br />Hatton and William Baldner: <br />The Select Board reviewed the three candidates recommended for certification as Police Officers. Town <br />Manager Rodney C. Collins attested the entry level police officer hiring process was adhered to for all <br />certifications before the Select Board. <br />Motion made by Selectman Cotton to Certify the Hiring Process for the following individuals; <br />Michael Pandolfo, <br />Christopher Hatton, and <br />William Baldner <br />as Police Officers consistent with the Town's Hiring Process. <br />Motion seconded by Selectman Wyman -Colombo.. <br />VOTE: 4-0.
