Mr. Klein indicated <br />there are a lat of restrictions on. the property imposed by the setlers, and. tfiere is no public access to the <br />pond. If sold,the remainitig pond -side property retained by the owners would become more valuable. <br />Community Preservation Committee member Lyruie Barbee of Surf" Drive commented in support of the <br />acquisition, of the 475 Nathan Ellis Ifighway project noting the Assistant Conservation Agent conducted an <br />environmental quality assessmerft of the 8-acre site. His recommendation to acquire the parcel would aid <br />in open. space preserva-tion ftirthering theTown's goal for water quality protection. The site bas a dwelling <br />on the property with. a hard, compact parking area and an 1A septic systern that could provide recreational <br />benefit to the public and residents. A.
