• No. 11 Include the town beach to the narrative.
• *No. 12 Recommendation: adding a 12t1, recommendation related
to granting authority of permits. This recommendation would
involve imposing conditions such as an archaeological dig, survey,
or assessment to be completed in coordination with the
Wampanoag Tribe.
o Suggestion: The topic is not directly related to Climate
Control and should not be included in this section. It is
concluded that further discussion on this topic will be
necessary.
• Objective 4: No. 1 All set as presented.
• No. 2 Concerns if the Town could create a plan to coordinate
maintenance with homeowners located on a private road.
Recommendation: Town establish incentives for these
homeowners to maintain the roadway. Suggestion: Change the
language of the presented recommendation.
• No. 3 All set as presented.
• No. 4 All set as presented.
• No. 5 All set as presented.
➢ Water Quality
History, Impacts of Nutrient:Pollution
o Revise with the more recent charts. Suggestions: Look into the available
alternative chart options that may provide additional background support or
replace existing charts.
o Technicality of the charts is concerning and the potential for readers to become
overwhelmed by their quantity. Suggestion: fewer charts, accompanied by well-
written text, would provide sufficient information for readers to understand the
key points in the section.
o Concern: 10-year timeframe is insufficient for a comprehensive trend analysis.
o Excessive detail in some charts, particularly the Total Chlorophyll-a pigment
levels charts on page 37 and the Minimum Dissolved Oxygen(DO) level charts
on pages 38 and 39.
■ Retain the Total Nitrogen charts (pages 35 and 36)within the `plan,' as
they highlight threshold exceedances throughout all years.
Recommendation: improving the captions for the charts.
o Conclusion: site descriptions should be in italics and included in the narrative of
the chart description at the bottom of the figure, or a title should be added to the
X-axis.
5
