MINUTES July a, 1989 7 BOARD OF HEALTH <br /> Mr. Costa requested Mr. McQuaid to forward another letter to Town Counsel <br /> requesting his opinion as to whether this Board may act on enforcing its <br /> barn regulations. <br /> 18. ) Playground Coordinator opening - F.Y.I . - the Board acknowledged re- <br /> ceiving the announcement for the job opening. <br /> 19. ) Memo from Executive Secretary re : Fuel contract - The Board acknowl- <br /> edged receiving the memo. <br /> 20. ) Response from Doug Boyd re: Zoning requirements for lots 108 & 109 <br /> Pinecrest & lots 268 & 269 Valley Road - Mr. McQuaid stated, having <br /> received Mr. Boyd s opinion of the lots he will forward a letter to <br /> Attorney Delaney stating this Board cannot issue permits for lots <br /> 268 & 269 Valley Road. . <br /> Mr. McQuaid stated Mr. Boyd has determined lots 108 & 109 as buildable <br /> and this office is in receipt of the V.O.C. test as required. Mr. <br /> McQuaid explained that the owner is requesting a well permit for the <br /> second lot, in order to perform the E.P.A. 624 and file the waiver with <br /> the Registry of Deeds. <br /> Mr. Greelish motioned to grant the variances from the Moratorium area <br /> as requested with the stipulation an E.P.A. 624 water test is performed <br /> on lot 109 Pinecrest and the necessary waivers are filed with the Reg- <br /> istry of Deeds, Mr. Doherty seconded, all agreed. <br /> *****NEW BUSINESS***** <br /> Transfer Station/Landfill payroll <br /> Mr. McQuaid presented the D.P.W. payroll to the Board for temporary <br /> operations at the Landfill/Transfer Station and commented hours worked <br /> were very high due to the holiday. <br /> Mr. Costa forwarded his signature to the payroll and requested Mr. <br /> McQuaid to receive verbal approval from Selectman Gottlieb prior to his <br /> submittal of payroll to the Town Accountant. <br /> Mr. McQuaid presented Mr. Virgilio's expense form for operations at <br /> the Landfill/Transfer Station to the Board. <br /> Mr. Costa stated when the expense voucher is submitted he will review <br /> it with Selectmen Gottlieb and requested Mr. McQuiad to inform Mr. Virgilio <br /> he would like a daily summary of all expenses incurred. <br /> Being no further business Mr. Doherty motioned to adjourn this meeting at <br /> 9: 10, Mr. Greelish seconded, all agreed. <br /> Respectfully submitted, <br /> Veronica Warden, Principal Clerk <br />
