DiMaggio <br /> sign tomorrow following which the Board members will sign it. Selectman Gottlieb <br /> has also agreed to the amount to be deducted from the contract based on $500/day. <br /> Friday at closing the contractor may put his keys on the gate and trailer. <br /> Mr. Greelish stated that at least one of the members and agent go over the <br /> site and conditions with the contractor on Saturday. Mr. greelish stated he <br /> would go. <br /> The contractor will supply the Board with a key and the Police and Fire <br /> Departments will also be give a key for emergencies. <br /> Mr. Greelish motioned to execute the contract with -the conditions set out; <br /> Mr. Costa seconded. (Mr. Doherty stepped down from this issue, as he found it <br /> to be a conflict of interest. ) <br /> A short discussion ensued regarding the type and number of lights installed <br /> at the Transfer Station. It was concluded that the lights were required by OSHA <br /> and although they were expensive to purchase, they should be cost effective in <br /> the long run. <br /> The issue of the possibility of Doug Boyd issuing a "Stop Work Order" <br /> was raised. Mr. Costa stated that he spoke with Town Counsel who informed him <br /> that the Building Inspector has the authority to issue a temporary occupancy <br /> permit. Town Counsel said he would call Mr. Boyd in the morning. Mr. Costa <br /> stated that he has instructed the operator to ignore a stop work order if one <br /> is issued. <br /> Mr. Greelish motioned to adjourn at 10:30 p.m. , Mr. Doherty seconded, all <br /> agreed. <br /> Respectfully submitted, <br /> E.A.M. <br />
