Comm. Health Center -2,600 people were serviced <br />Falmouth Service Center - 599 families <br />Gosnold/Thorne - increased %’s, health insurance is required <br />Independence House - 238 domestic violence cases <br />Salvation Army - more breakdown information is needed <br />Sight Loss - 279 served <br /> <br />John Cahalane suggested asking for numbers of unfunded Mashpee services (free work), <br />Gosnold in particular. <br /> <br />Gail Wilson reviewed her Coordinator’s Report which included meetings attended, <br />administrative activities, and clinical activities. <br /> <br />Gail Wilson submitted her goals for 2011-2012 as Human Services Coordinator. <br /> <br />1) To review all Human Services Contracts and evaluate the needs of Mashpee residents and the <br />services of the contracts. <br /> <br />2) To update the Resource Guide for Mashpee residents with current list of financial resources <br />and counseling resources. <br /> <br />3) To continue work with the Suicide Coalition to promote education training within the Town of <br />Mashpee. <br /> <br />4) To work with the Human Services Council and the Human Services Committee with the <br />liaison to highlight areas of concern or gaps in service. <br /> <br />5) To continue with consultation and assessment with counseling cases. <br /> <br />6) Collaboration with Tara Carline, Mashpee Police, regarding having informational meetings <br />with town residents regarding current resident issues. <br /> <br />7) To establish a task force to explore the idea of a multi-service center in Mashpee. <br /> <br /> <br />It was suggested that #5 be placed higher up on the list, since there will be more referrals and <br />less patient treatment. <br /> <br />Gail Wilson will invite Brenda from the Falmouth Service Center to one of our MHS meetings. <br /> <br />Janice Walford suggested the Committee work on expanding their goals, and possibly consider <br />using the $13,000 for VNA to go towards a part-time assistant for Gail Wilson. <br /> <br /> <br />Mary Scanlan requested that discussion of goals for the MHS Committee be placed on the next <br /> 2 <br /> <br />
