"A letter was forwarded <br /> to the Condominium Association allotting a time frame in <br /> which they are required to tie-into public water or submit <br /> engineering plans for a non-community public well to service <br /> the entire condominium association. " "The Country Club de- <br /> velopment is now under separate ownership from the condo- <br /> minium part of the development and therefore the proposed <br /> public well, which was to be located within the perimeters of <br /> the Country Club, is no longer under their ownership. " "Mr. <br /> Michaels received notification and responded in writing to <br /> D.E.P. that he will comply with their requirements. " "In my <br /> opinion this is a minor water increase usage and is insig- <br /> nificant in resolving the water supply issue for the <br /> project. " <br /> Mr. Greelish requested Mr. Pesce to relocate the septic <br /> tank 50' from the existing well . <br /> Mr. Doherty motioned to grant the State and local vari- <br /> ances as requested with the following stipulations; the engi- <br /> neer shall submit revised plans delineating the septic tank <br /> 50" from. the existing . well and -the owner of garage #6 <br /> Quashnet-Valley East Condominiums 'shall file a deed restric- <br /> tion with the Registry of Deeds which states garage #6 will <br /> be utilized solely for the purpose of office space, no habit- <br /> able space *will' be permitted.', Mr. Ball seconded, all agreed. <br /> 4 I r <br /> APPOINTMENT: Edward Pesce - 20 Kim Path <br /> Mr. Pesce and Mr. Barns; owner of #20 Kim Path, was in <br /> attendance for this scheduled appointment. <br /> Mr. Barns informed Board members he is proposing to re-- <br /> model his home. "The dwelling will remain a 3 bedroom home <br /> with 2 bathrooms. " "Remodeling will encompass approximately <br /> 150 to 180 additional square feet of habitable living space. " <br /> Mr. Pesce relayed, the owner is not increasing the num- <br /> ber of bedrooms. "If the Board concludes the septic system <br /> is to be upgraded it will require mounding. " "I do not feel <br /> the soils are perkable however, should soils perk would the <br /> Board accept strip-out as an option. " <br /> Mr. McQuaid stated perk tests indicate groundwater is <br /> between 5.5' and 6. 5' therefore does not appear to present a <br /> problem. "I would recommend the engineer proceed with the <br /> installation of a Title V system, should any problems arise <br /> the engineer is to consult with a health agent. " <br />
