MINUTES February 18, 1993 7 BOARD OF HEALTH <br /> Variance request - 24 Periwinkle <br /> Mr. McQuaid relayed the system was not installed accord- <br /> ing to plan. <br /> Questions were raised as to why the system was no in- <br /> stalled according to plans. <br /> Mr. Greelish directed Mr. McQuaid to request the engi- <br /> neer's attendance at an upcoming meeting. <br /> Request for waiver of Installer's examination <br /> Mr. McQuaid relayed, ."Mr. Harnois is requesting a waiver <br /> of the policy which requires an installer to take the ` exam. <br /> if he was not licensed the previous year." "Mr.' Harnois ex- <br /> plained he was not licensed the previous year due to the <br /> economy. " ' <br /> R <br /> Mr. Doherty motioned to deny the request to waive the <br /> installer's examination, Mr. Ball seconded, all agreed. <br /> k } <br /> A & B Canco <br /> Mr. McQuaid relayed Mr. Cannon is requesting the Board <br /> support an individual contract between Canco and <br /> Dennis/Yarmouth treatment plant to allow them to start using <br /> Dennis/Yarmouth for grease disposal from various food estab- <br /> lishments in town. <br /> Mr. Greelish stated, "Prior to this Board forwarding its <br /> support we would require an agreement with Dennis/Yarmouth <br /> stating all pumpers would be permitted to utilize the facil- <br /> I <br /> ity. n <br /> At this time, (9:52 p.m. ) , Mr. Greelish motioned to enter <br /> into Executive Session, Mr. Ball seconded, all agreed. <br /> Meeting reconvened at 10:10 P.M. <br /> Letter to Landfil Transf r Station contractor <br /> Mr. Greelish requested Mr. Ball to prepare a letter of <br /> commendation to Mr. DiMaggio for his outstanding work as op- <br /> erator of the Landfill/Transfer Station. <br /> I <br />
