Mr. <br /> Greelish requested copies of the results.. <br /> Mr. Greelish stated: "Rental properties have to be <br /> hooked up if the water is available. Let's put together a <br /> list and have these people come before the Board." <br /> 4. ) Revised School Health Curriculum & Meeting Announcement <br /> 3/25/93 . Mr. Evans indicated he would attend the meeting. <br /> Mr. McQuaid indicated that the amount of time devoted to <br /> AIDS education will substantially increase and will start at <br /> the Kindergarten level . <br /> 5. ) Variances granted: 24 & 34 Nobska Rd. Mr. McQuaid indi- <br /> cated that these plans were previously approved, the wells <br /> had been installed but that the permit had lapsed. The ap- <br /> proved master plan indicated well and septic locations. <br /> Board acknowledged variances granted. <br /> FOR DISCUSSION <br /> Wamnanoag VOC water tests. Mr. Evans indicated that the <br /> Health Advisory Council (of which he is a member) has re- <br /> ceived funding for health screening. They need 230 partici- <br /> pants. They are unable to recruit more volunteers. The <br /> thought is perhaps by offering free VOC water test more par- <br /> ticipants may come forward. <br /> Mr. McQuaid indicated Stetson Hall's concern as to <br /> whether or not it would be politically wise to offer the <br /> free water test. to a particular segment of the population. <br /> .Mr. Doherty stated that as. long as it is tied in with <br /> the health study, he would not object. <br /> Mr. Greelish suggested arranging a meeting with the . <br /> Tribal Council leaders, the Advisory Committee including . <br /> Stetson Hall to discuss this matter further and how to en- <br /> courage more volunteers. . <br /> 20 Kim Path Mr. McQuaid requested the Board's clarification <br /> regarding their request that the owner sign the "No increase <br /> in habitable space" in spite of engineered plans. He re- <br /> minded the Board that in this case the owner and engineer <br /> appeared before the Board on 1/7/93 and. indicated that due <br /> to the owner's health, which will eventually require him to <br /> be in a wheelchair, his house must be made handicapped ac- <br /> cessible. The number of bedrooms however will not increase. <br /> Mr. Greelish motioned to remove the restriction requir- <br /> ing the affidavit based on a hardship situation requiring <br /> handicapped accessibility. All agreed. <br />
