MINUTES April 15 , 1993 6 BOARD OF HEALTH <br /> Mr. Ball motioned to grant a 23' local variance from the <br /> on-site well to abutting leaching facility, (#31 Pondview <br /> Ave. ) , A 21' local variance from on-site well to abutting <br /> leaching facility, (#22 Shorewood Dr. ) and a 12' local vari- <br /> ance from the on-site well to abutting leaching facility, <br /> (#14 Shorewood Dr. ) , with the stipulation the owner sign and <br /> file with the Registry of Deeds the affidavit which states <br /> i <br /> they must tie into public water once available, Mr. Doherty <br /> seconded, all agreed. <br /> 8 SHORE DRIVE - Mr. McQuaid explained, "This is an existing <br /> house which the owner would like to renovate by increasing <br /> the bedroom space from 3 to 4 bedrooms. " "The owner proposes <br /> to add a second level to a portion of the dwelling to accom- <br /> modate the additional bedroom. " "The existing leaching fa- <br /> cility consists of a 1000 gallon tank and a pit. " "In my <br /> opinion the pit is not adequate for the addition therefore, I <br /> requested an upgrade to current Title V requirements. " "The <br /> owner is requesting a 50' variance from abutting well , (#6 <br /> Shore Drive) , to the on-site leaching facility. " <br /> Mr. Greelish directed Mr. McQuaid to inform the engineer <br /> that the owner of house #6 Shore Drive must submit a letter <br /> stating no objection to the . proposed upgrade. <br /> Mr. Ball motioned to grant a 50' local variance from <br /> abutting well, (house #6 Shore Drive) , to the proposed <br /> on-site leaching facility with the stipulation the owner of 4 <br /> house #6 Shore Drive submit a letter to the Board of Health <br /> stating no objection to the upgrade, Mr. Doherty seconded, <br /> all agreed. <br /> DISCUSSION <br /> 1991 ATM ARTICLE 8 - Discussion took place regarding with- <br /> drawal of $100,000 . 00 which was appropriated at the May, 1991 <br /> Annual Town Meeting. <br /> I <br /> MAY 4, 1993 MEETING AT MMR RE: REGIONALIZATION -- Acknowl- <br /> edged <br /> *****NEW BUSINESS***** <br /> Lot 43 Starboard Drive - Mr. McQuaid relayed, "This is a <br /> pre-approved subdivision. " "The owner is requesting a 47' <br /> local variance from the on-site leaching facility to the <br /> on-site well. <br /> Mr. Ball motioned to grant a 47' local variance from the <br /> on-site leaching facility to the on-site well, Mr. Doherty <br /> seconded, all agreed. <br />
