MINUTES April 15, 1993 5 BOARD OF HEALTH <br /> Mr. Greelish recommended residents in attendance this <br /> evening present their concerns to the Conservation Commis- <br /> sion. <br /> Mr. Pocknett stated, "As far as I am concerned New <br /> Seabury has done more damage to the environment and we cannot <br /> allow them to continue their pattern. " <br /> Mr. Greelish reiterated his earlier comments stating, <br /> "We will insist upon the study, research further as to the <br /> sensitivity of the area and do what we can to protect the en- <br /> vironment. " <br /> 11 . ) Senior Center Open House. 5Z16/93 ti Acknowledged. <br /> 12. ) Regional Treatment Plant Open Meeting announcement,_ <br /> 4 20 93 - Mr. Greelish stated, "I have requested a meeting <br /> with Selectmen from the Town of Mashpee and Sandwich prior to <br /> Sandwich's Annual Town Meeting. " Mr. Greelish directed the <br /> secretary to forward a memo to the Executive Secretary ques- <br /> tioning him as to whether the meeting has been scheduled, Fif <br /> the meeting has not been scheduled than to schedule one as <br /> soon as possible, (a copy to be forwarded to Selectmen <br /> Costa) . <br /> 13) Variance requests: 16 Triton Way, 88 Shorewood Court. 8 <br /> Shore Drive <br /> 16 TRITON WAY -- Mr. McQuaid relayed, "This is a proposed <br /> five bedroom house. " "The Conservation Commission agent has <br /> determined it is not an eroding coastal bank. " "The re- <br /> quested variances are from a standard 6' x 6' pit to flow <br /> diffusers and a 9' variance from the foundation. " <br /> Mr. Evans recommended a bull-run valve as opposed to the <br /> d-box an plug. <br /> Mr. Ball motioned to grant a 9' State variance from the <br /> foundation, (based on the fact that it will be below the <br /> foundation) , and the installation of flow diffusers with the <br /> stipulation the plan is modified to delineate a bull-run <br /> valve in place of the d-box, Mr. Doherty seconded, all <br /> agreed. <br /> 88 SHOREWOOD COURT - Mr. McQuaid relayed, "The engineer sub- <br /> mitted revised plans as the breakout was miscalculated and <br /> variances from the on-site well and leaching facility to <br /> abutting lots was not delineated. " "Revised plans now indi- <br /> cate the correct break-out calculations and. requested vari- <br /> ances from abutt}ng dots ws '. Submitted. '! <br />
