MINUTES September 16, 1993 12 BOARD OF HEALTH <br /> Mr. Greelish motioned to grant the variances as stated <br /> by Mr. McQuaid, Mr. Ball seconded, all agreed. <br /> 207 DANIELS ISLAND ROAD - Mr. McQuaid relayed, "The owner is <br /> requesting a 10' local variance from abutting well , (199 <br /> Daniels Island Rd. ) , to the proposed on-site leaching facil- <br /> ity. "' "The owner has made application to the Water District <br /> for service tie-in. " <br /> Mr. Ball motioned to grant the 10' local variance as re- <br /> quested with the stipulation the owner tie-in to public water <br /> and an Agent of this Board question the engineer as to his <br /> statement on plans which indicates the well currently not in <br /> use is utilized for heating and cooling purposes, Mr. <br /> Greelish seconded, all agreed. <br /> 12 PALMER ROAD - Mr. McQuaid relayed, "This is a preapproved <br /> subdivision. " "The owner is requesting a 19' local variance <br /> from the on-site leaching facility to the proposed on-site <br /> well . " <br /> Mr. Ball motioned to grant the 19' local variance as re- <br /> quested, Mr. Greelish seconded, all agreed. <br /> 8) Discussed earlier in the meeting. <br /> *****NEW BUSINESS***** <br /> Perc extension request - 45 Yardarm Drive <br /> Mr. McQuaid relayed, "The pert was performed in May of <br /> 1992 . " "The owner is requesting a 6 month perc extension. " <br /> Mr. Ball motioned to grant the 6 month perc extension <br /> from date of expiration, Mr. Greelish seconded, all agreed. <br /> 48 Quaker Run Road (Pulsifer <br /> Mr. Pulsifer relayed, "The owner is proposing to en- <br /> closed the porch area to create additional° space for the <br /> dwelling. " <br /> Mr. McQuaid relayed, "I spoke with the Building Inspec- <br /> tor who agreed the porch would not be considered living space <br /> however, once the kitchen wall is removed it would be a 6' <br /> increase in habitable space. " "It does not have a Title V <br /> system. " "It is unlikely they could install a Title V system <br /> until public water becomes available. " "The mains are in <br /> however, water is not flowing and it is questionable whether <br /> the abutter's would tie-in. " "The owner is requesting the <br /> Board waiver the requirement of a Title V system. " <br /> I <br /> I <br />
