MINUTES July 7 , 1994 5 BOARD OF HEALTH <br /> Mr. Doherty stated based on our previous experience with <br /> Triumverate Environmental Mashpee's recommendation is to <br /> award the bid to Triumverate Environmental, Mr. Cram sec- <br /> onded, all agreed. <br /> 5. ) Memo from Town Clerk re: Seasonal sticker - Mr. <br /> McQuaid relayed, "The Town Clerk offers beach passes to sum- <br /> mer homeowners who rent out for $50.00. " "The pass may be <br /> transferred to the next tenant." "Ms. Labute is recommending <br /> the same type of procedure for landfill stickers. " "It is <br /> our policy the homeowner must provide garbage pickup or ar- <br /> range to pickup his tenants garbage himself with his own <br /> sticker. " <br /> Mr. Ball recommended keeping a record of each pass is- <br /> sued. <br /> Board members agreed. <br /> Mr. Cram motioned to approve a laminated seasonal <br /> landfill/transfer station pass valid from June 1, through Oc- <br /> tober 15, 1994 at $50.00 per pass for guests/renters, Mr. <br /> Doherty seconded, all agreed. <br /> Mr. Ball directed the Agent to request the Town Clerk <br /> provide this Board with a list of all seasonal stickers is- <br /> sued from her office. <br /> 6. ) Correspondence re: Lakeside Trailer Park - Mr. McQuaid <br /> relayed, "One letter was received from Mr. Haney which was <br /> noncommittal and one letter from A.W. & T. which confirms <br /> they were talking about a Bio-clere sewerage treatment <br /> plant. " "Mr. Haney is not upgrading five systems per year as <br /> agreed." "In fact, there are two emergency failures being <br /> repaired this week. " "I would recommend the Board forward a <br /> strong certified letter with a copy to Town Counsel stating <br /> if the commitments are not made between now and the end of <br /> the year his license will not be renewed. " "If Mr. Haney <br /> fails to satisfy the agreement and conditions then Mr. Haney <br /> becomes in contempt of the general laws in which case we can <br /> fine him up to $100.00 per day. " <br /> Mr. Doherty stated, "Based on water test results I would <br /> recommend this Board .issue an order to rectify the water <br /> situation within 60 days. " <br /> Mr. McQuaid reiterated his earlier comments suggesting <br /> the Board forward a letter to Mr. Haney stating if the com- <br /> mitments are not made between now and the end of the year his <br /> license will not be renewed. <br />
