MINUTES February 25, 1995 5 BOARD OF HEALTH <br /> Mr. McQuaid commented, "I don't think the cost associated with tying Mr. Riley's <br /> lot into town water is significant." <br /> Mr. Ball stated, "I am looking at this as a single lot and an individual coming in to <br /> buy this lot." "Would we make him tie into town water." <br /> Mr. Doherty commented, "There is the potential repair or replacement costs." <br /> Mr. Doherty stated, "I would be strongly inclined to go along with it if we receive <br /> a satisfactory water test." <br /> Mr. Ball stated, "I would also be strongly inclined to go along with it as long as a <br /> water test is performed with satisfactory results." <br /> Mr. Cram stated, "I would like more information on the matter." <br /> 3.) Bi-monthly transfer station/landfill inspection report - Acknowledged. <br /> 4.) Fin.Comm. meeting, 3/7/95 @a 7:00 p.m. - Board members will attend. <br /> 5.) Proposed regulation re: Altemative technology monitoring - Mr. McQuaid <br /> relayed, "There is a loophole in the proposed Title V which may not require alternative <br /> systems monitoring reports to be submitted to the local Board of Health nor does it <br /> specifically allow the local Board of Health to increase the monitoring requirements." <br /> "This is a proposed regulation to take care of that." "This must be approved and adopted <br /> prior to the end of March." "I would like to draft it up specific to the town of Mashpee <br /> and adopt it next week." <br /> Board members agreed. <br /> 6.) Emergency failure certifications <br /> 31 Lakewood Drive - Mr. Evans relayed, "The cesspool was filled to overflow." <br /> "Repairs have already begun." <br /> Board members forwarded their signatures to the "Emergency Repair <br /> Certification" form. <br /> 33 Ship's Anchor Drive - Mr. Evans relayed, "I inspected the site and found the leach <br />�- pit filled with sewage backed up into the basement." <br />
