MINUTES April 6, 1995 8 BOARD OF HEALTH <br /> Mr. Doherty motioned to grant the emergency repair with the stipulation flow <br /> diffusers are installed if possible, Mr. Cram seconded, all agreed. <br /> 64 Waterway - Mr. Evans relayed, "I inspected the site and verified the system in <br /> failure." "Flow diffusers will be installed." <br /> Board members forwarded their signatures to the "Emergency Repair <br /> Certification" form. <br /> *****NEW BUSINESS***** <br /> White Goods <br /> Mr. McQuaid relayed, "A few weeks ago Brockton Iron & Steel submitted a <br /> proposal to remove our white goods for $20.00 per ton." "We contacted PK Contracting <br /> and informed them of the proposal." "PK Contracting agreed to match the proposal." "I <br /> would recommend we stay with PK Contracting due to Brockton Iron & Steels past <br /> history with us." "We also have a revised proposal from Advanced Waste Systems on our <br /> newspapers." "I spoke with Pat Ellis from Sandwich." "As soon as we receive our <br /> containers from the D.E.P. grant we can have Mr. DiMaggio haul the containers to <br /> Sandwich and we will be paid based on our tonnage, ($90.00 per ton)." "I would <br /> recommend we forward a letter to Advanced Waste Systems thanking them for their <br /> proposal and let them know they are welcome to match the price." <br /> Board members agreed. <br /> Being no further business Mr. Doherty motioned to adjourn this meeting at 9.02 p.m., Mr. <br /> Cram seconded, all greed. <br /> Respectfully submitted, <br />
