i <br /> MINUTES April 20, 1995 10 BOARD OF HE,' LTH <br /> 12 Squaws Lane - Mr. McQuaid relayed, "This is a reperc." "The applicant is proposing <br /> to upgrade his system to accommodate an increase in habitable space." "It is a marginal <br /> lot." "The engineer is proposing a pump system to maintain the 4'." <br /> Mr. Doherty motioned to continue this matter pending the engineers attendance, <br /> Mr. Cram seconded, all agreed. <br /> *****NEW BUSINESS***** <br /> Letter from Town Counsel re: „Pending Litigation's <br /> Mr. McQuaid relayed, "Town Counsel is suggesting the Board consider meeting <br /> with the McDonald's to discuss the Clivus Multrum type system as they have additional <br /> information." <br /> Mr. Doherty stated, "If the McDonald's wish to strictly address the Clivus <br /> Multrum system they are welcome to attend however, the Board will not discuss the <br /> subsurface disposal system." <br /> Mr. McQuaid commented, "I will contact Town Counsel and let him know the <br /> Board's stance." <br /> Mr. Evans commented, "None of these systems makes an unbuildable lot <br /> buildable." <br /> Cony of letter from Weston & Sampson to D.E.P. <br /> Mr. McQuaid relayed, "In our endeavors to have our landfill reclassified from a <br /> significant threat to a potential threat we were hoping to get an extension on the deadline <br /> by which we have to cap our landfilI." "We met with D.E.P. along with Town Counsel <br /> and Weston & Sampson present and we proposed a schedule which would require <br /> implementation of the capping costs during fiscal year 1998." "We got a draft consent <br /> order sent to us a week or so ago which I discussed with Weston & Sampson." "There <br /> closure plan was 1997." "We feel that due to the financial constraints on the town that <br /> 1998 would be a better year." "Weston & Sampson did forward a letter to D.E.P. <br /> reiterating our concerns that the town won't be comfortable allocating the funds until <br /> 1998." <br />
