MINUTES April 20, 1995 9 BOARD OF HEALTH <br /> 151 Shore Drive - Mr. McQuaid relayed, "This is an existing three bedroom dwelling." <br /> "The perc test failed as they could not get 4' of naturally occurring permeable soil <br /> however, it is a voluntary upgrade." "They plan to stripout the unsuitable soil." "The <br /> owners have agreed to sign the affidavit which agrees to no increase in habitable space." <br /> Mr. Doherty motioned to grant a 7' sideline variance, Mr. Cram seconded, all <br /> agreed. <br /> 13 Wheelhouse Lane - Mr. McQuaid relayed, "Original plans were approved in 1993 <br /> pending no objection from any abutters." "The owner is proposing a three bedroom <br /> dwelling." "Due to Conservation Commission requirements plans were revised to include <br /> a bio-clere system." <br /> Mr. Doherty motioned to approve the installation of a Bio-clere system, Mr. Cram <br /> seconded, all agreed <br /> 137 & 139 Falmouth-Sandwich Road - Mr. McQuaid relayed, "I did inform the <br /> engineer that the Board may deny plans as he has indicated a private well and there is <br /> town water available. <br /> Mr. Doherty motioned to deny plans based on the area being documented as an <br /> area of groundwater contamination and there is town water available to both lots, Mr. <br /> Cram seconded, all agreed. <br /> 23 Waterline Drive - Mr. McQuaid relayed, "The owner is requesting a six month pert <br /> extension because of the delay with the Conservation Commission." <br /> Mr. Doherty motioned to grant a six month perc extension with expiration date of <br /> October 20, 1995, Mr. Cram seconded, all agreed. <br /> 55 Uncle Edwards Road - Mr. McQuaid relayed, "In my opinion there is not 4' of <br /> naturally occurring permeable soil." "There is 2' of fill and 2' of original top and subsoil, <br /> 2' of silty loam, and 2' of medium sand to groundwater at $'." "When you adjust the <br /> groundwater it brings it up to elevation 5." I would recommend we request the engineer <br /> attend an upcoming meeting to discuss the matter." <br /> Mr. Doherty motioned to continue this matter pending the engineers attendance at <br /> an upcoming meeting, Mr. Cram seconded, all agreed, <br /> I <br />
