MINUTES April 20, 195 8 BOARD OF HEALTH <br /> 10 Cross Street - Mr. McQuaid relayed, "The owner is voluntarily upgrading his system <br /> which will increase the distance from the well on 914 Cross Street." "There is no <br /> proposed expansion in living space." "The applicant is requesting a 36' variance from the <br /> proposed leaching facility to abutting well, (#14 Cross Street), and a 50' local variance <br /> from the proposed on-site leaching facility to abutting well, (#4 Pine Street) <br /> Mr. Doherty motioned to grant the variances as stated by Mr. McQuaid with the <br /> stipulation the owner sign the affidavit which agrees to no increase in habitable space until <br /> such time as there are no active wells within 150' of the leaching facility, Mr. Cram <br /> seconded, all agreed. <br /> 10.) Misc. plan approvals - 376 Monomoscoy Read, 81 Hooppole Road, 151 Shore <br /> Drive, 13 Wheelhouse_Lane, 137 & 139 Falmouth-Sandwich Road, 23 Waterline Drive <br /> South and 55 Uncle Edwards Road and 12 Squaws Lane <br /> 376 Monomoscoy Road - Mr. McQuaid relayed, "Top and subsoil were at 1', medium <br /> fine sand to 8.5' and groundwater was at 8.5'." "There is a trailer on the lot now." <br /> Mr. Evans relayed, "The owner is proposing to remove the trailer and construct a <br /> house." <br /> Mr. McQuaid relayed, "There is enough information lacking that I would <br /> recommend we withdraw the application for another meeting because flow calculation <br /> were omitted and sheet 2 is missing." <br /> Board members agreed to continue this variance request pending additional <br /> information. <br /> 81 Hooppole Road - Mr. McQuaid relayed, "Due to the proximity to the pond and <br /> groundwater elevation the owner is proposing a 2000 gallon tight tank." "The owner will <br /> provide a copy of the contract with a licensed pumper to ensure the system is pumped as <br /> necessary." "There are alarms both bells and lights which will flash when the level in the <br /> tank reaches 315 of its capacity." "This is an existing cottage." "The engineer has <br /> indicated the system was in failure however, we have not verified that." "The owner has <br /> agreed to sign the affidavit which agrees to no increase in habitable space." <br /> i <br /> Mr. Doherty motioned to grant the installation of a 2000 gallon tight tank with the <br /> stipulation approval is received from D.E.P_, Mr. Cram seconded, all agreed. <br />
