MINUTES May 4, 1995 6 BOARD OF HEALTH <br /> Mr. Cram stated, "I would like to see a postponement on a decision until we see <br /> a possibility as far as upgrading the system." <br /> Mr. Doherty stated, "Based on technical reasons, I motion that no upgrade is <br /> required at this time, Mr. Ball seconded, Mr. Cram abstained." <br /> 3.) Vote on 2% C.O.L. increase - Mr. Doherty motioned to approve a 2% cost of <br /> living increase for the Health Agent and Assistant Health Agent effective May 1, 1995, Mr. <br /> Ball seconded, all agreed. <br /> 4.) A.P.C.C. Conference"State of the Base" Saturday, June 3, 1995 - Acknowledged. <br /> 5.) Increase in living space decision - 47 Riverside Road - Discussed earlier. <br /> 6.) Commercial system - Building 5 Deer Crossing - Mr. McQuaid relayed, "The <br /> Board approved the septic system for building#5 at Deer Crossing which was proposed as <br /> retail and restaurant space." "Revised plans now indicate the building will be utilized as a <br /> hardware store and garden center." "A duel system is proposed as required." "I am <br /> concerned as proposals include 14 additional parking spaces and they do not indicate <br /> M.D.C. drains on the plan." <br /> Mr. Doherty recommended placement of the drains along Shellback Way. <br /> Mr. McQuaid relayed, "I met with the owner and their attorney today." "They are <br /> agreeable to the installation of M.D.C. type drains." "Once we receive topographical <br /> plans we can determine the drain locations." <br /> Mr. Doherty motioned to approve plans as submitted with the stipulation M.D.C. <br /> type drains with absorbent pads are installed in up to three locations approved by the <br /> health agent and the owner(s) provide a copy of the maintenance contract for annual <br /> inspection of the absorbent pads, Mr. Cram seconded, all agreed. <br /> *****OLD BUSINESS***** <br /> 5 Ba share Drive Hackinson <br /> Mr. McQuaid relayed, "The master plans delineates 150' between well and <br /> septics." "Original plans proposed for this lot indicated 120' between the on-site well and <br /> the on-site leaching facility." "The owner is now concerned about the potability of the <br /> water as it is in close proximity to the water." "I reviewed a water analysis report from an <br /> abutting lot."
