"I would recommend the Board approve the "Fast" <br /> system for denitrification purposes." <br /> Mr. Ball motioned to approve the installation of a "FAST" system and septic tank <br /> relocation, Mr. Cram seconded, all agreed. <br /> 5.) Fish Toxics Survey Report - Mr. McQuaid relayed, "They caught five large mouth <br /> bass that ranged in mercury from 0.1 to 0.54." "The maximum contaminant level for <br /> mercury where it has to be posted is 1.0 which indicates there may been only one of those <br /> five fish that had 0.54 which is the trigger level." "Sandwich decided not to post the pond <br /> because it was not significant enough." "I am wondering whether we should keep the <br /> signs up or submit the request for a retest." "In my opinion, I don't think the mercury <br /> levels in the fish at Mashpee-Wakeby pond are any different from anywhere else." <br /> "According to the report we are no different than any other pond they tested in the area at <br /> that time." <br /> Mr. Ball stated, "I would like to see retesting." "If it's lover then the trigger level <br /> then we can take down the signs." <br /> Mr. Ball motioned to submit the application for a retest of the pond, Mr. Cram <br /> seconded, all agreed. <br /> 6.) Request for fee waiver, Boch Center (Fiesta Shows) - Mr. Evans relayed, "They <br /> are definitely in business to make money." <br /> I <br /> Mr. Cram stated, "The application states a portion of the proceeds are designated <br /> for the local non-profit organization." <br /> Mr. McQuaid stated, "Last year we charged them $25.00 per stand for their length <br /> of stay." "The year before there was no charge." <br /> Mr. Ball motioned to reduce the fee for "Fiesta Shows" to $25.00 per stand for <br /> the duration of the event, Mr. Cram seconded, all agreed. <br /> 7.) Emergency Failure Certification 38 Ore on Road and 13 Hornbeam Lane <br /> I <br /> 38 Ore on Road - Mr. McQuaid relayed, "I inspected the site and found the leach pit <br /> full." <br /> i <br /> I <br />
