MfNTUTES June 29, 1995 16 BOARD OF HEALTH Ms. Amaral responded, "Because she knows the law." Mr. Cram stated, "Well, she knows the law as far as selling real estate." Ms. Amaral stated, "She's also a practicing attorney." Mr. Cram stated, "That doesn't mean a thing." Ms. Amaral stated, "Well, it means enough to have me running around in circles," Mr. Cram stated, "That doesn't mean a thing." "Just because a person is a. practicing attorney or somebody's in the real estate business that doesn't mean a thing." "That's completely irrelevant." Ms. Amaral stated, "It doesn't seem irrelevant to me." "You know the stench, the horrible stench that's coming from my house." "I have had two of his officers three times, the last three nights they came down to my house and they tell me you call everybody and don't you stop bitching until you get something done." "And that's what I'm doing, I'm only trying to follow what they're telling me to do." Mr. Cram stated, "Let's go back to the original question that was asked five minutes ago." "If this septic system was pumped out as we said, and I think everybody agreed, yesterday." "Is that true?" Ms. Amaral responded, "Yes, and the day before and the day before." Mr. Cram stated, "Based on'a three bedroom house we know from experience what the gallonage of the flow would be going back into that system, how can it be full again?" Ms. Amaral responded, "I don't know, I don't know," Mr. Cram stated, "There is something that is not making sense and we're trying to understand, we're trying to comprehend here." Mr. McQuaid stated, "Because normally under an emergency situation Ms. Amaral if we can get the system, the tank pumped, it gives you a few days." Ms. Amaral stated, "Listen, I've had septic systems before, I know how they work., my father is a general contractor." "I understand this stuff." "I don't know."
