i MINUTES June 29, 1995 8 BOARD OF HEALTH Mr. McQuaid stated, "The road, there's no flow on the road." Ms. Amaral stated, "Yes there is." McQuaid stated, "Let me finish, "As we know enough about septic systems and septic tanks I'm led to believe that the tank is a 1000 gallon tank." "With three bedrooms, with Title V indicating 110 gallons per bedrooms or 55 gallons per person, there are three people living in the house and there is no one home all day, 3 people x 55 gallons per day, there is no way that tank could have filled up between Monday night and this morning and it needed to be pumped this morning and it's full again." "There is something going on with the flow into that tank for this to happen and for this to break-out again." Mr. Doherty questioned Ms. Amaral, "You know there has been a problem with the system, have you been careful using water?" Ms. Amaral responded, "Yes I have." "I am not home during the day." "My children, my son has been staying, I do not have my kids at home with this problem going on." "The only thing we use is the toilet, I do a load of wash a night and they take showers." Mr. Doherty questioned, "When was the last time it was pumped?" Mr. McQuaid responded, "This morning." Ms. Amaral responded, "This morning." Mr. McQuaid stated, "She's saying it's flowing out again." Ms. Amaral stated, "It's flowing out." "I have it on the camcorder." Mr. Doherty questioned Ms. Amaral, "How then, could you use 750 gallons between this morning and tonight." Ms. Amaral responded, "I am not using 750 gallons of water or what you say 1000 gallons of water." "I don't know where it's coming from, I don't know what the problem is." "I had some suggestions from some of the engineers who came that said maybe there is a blockage within the pipe that flows to whatever that pond or leach whatever it is, I don't know what it is that's making it backlash, I don't know what your problem is."
