"The applicant is requesting a six month extension." <br /> Mr. Doherty motioned to grant a six month perk extension from the date of <br /> expiration, Mr. Ball seconded, all agreed. <br /> 10.) Variance requests - 24 Ca tains Row, 30 Jackson Road and 122 Whippoorwill <br /> Circle <br /> 24 Captains Row - Mr. McQuaid stated, "I have no problems with the plan as presented <br /> and would recommend approval of the variance request." <br /> Mr. Ball motioned to grant the 5' sideline variance as requested, Mr. Doherty <br /> seconded, all agreed. <br /> 30 Jackbon Road - Mr. McQuaid relayed, "Originally, the applicant had submitted plans <br /> for a three bedroom house." "The owner then asked is he could build a four bedroom <br /> house on the property located within the zone II area." "I would recommend the Board <br /> required the engineer to move the system out towards the open space and grant a sideline <br /> variance thereby maintaining 150' between the proposed on-site leaching facility and the <br /> proposed on-site well." <br /> I <br /> Mr. Ball motioned to require the engineer to redesign plans delineating the <br /> leaching facility in the open space area of the lot maintaining 150' between the proposed <br /> on-site leaching facility and the proposed on-site well and to grant a 5' sideline variance, <br /> variance relief is contingent upon the health agents approval of redesigned plans, Mr. <br /> Doherty seconded, all agreed. <br /> 122 Whippoorwill Circle - Mr. McQuaid relayed, "This is a repair for the existing 4 <br /> bedroom home." "The applicant will be connecting to town water." "They are requesting <br /> a 1.8% reduction in the leaching capacity, a 5' sideline variance, a 10'sideline variance <br /> from the vacant State owned parcel and a 4' local variance from the proposed on-site <br /> leaching facility to abutting well, (#128 Whippoorwill Circle)." "It meets Title V <br /> requirements as it will maintain 56' from the wetland." <br /> Mr. Doherty commented, "Due to the close proximity of the wetlands this <br /> situation does warrant a denitrification unit." <br /> Mr. Doherty motioned to deny the variance relief sought and to request the <br /> applicant consider the installation of a denitrification unit, Mr. Ball seconded, all agreed. <br />
