"We are proposing to install a standard septic tank, <br /> gravity feed it to a pump chamber and pump it up to the leaching facility." "We would be <br /> willing to increase the leaching capacity, by design, 25% which meets Title V's regulation <br /> of maximum feasible compliance." "We would still maintain 20' from the corner of the <br /> building or any foundation portion of the building." <br /> Mr. Cram commented, "In my opinion, the engineer should submit revised plans." <br /> Mr. Ball agreed. <br /> Mr. Cram motioned to conditionally grant a 15' variance from the proposed septic <br /> tank to the salt marsh, a 10' sideline variance and a 7' variance from the foundation upon <br /> receipt of revised plans showing elimination of the F.A.S.T. denitrification unit and the <br /> different configuration and calculation of the leaching field, Mr. Ball seconded. <br /> *****OLD BUSINESS***** <br /> Transfer Station Bulky Waste <br /> Mr. McQuaid stated, "Signs will go out tomorrow on bulky waste charges." <br /> "Pamphlets will be ready next week." <br /> Mr. Cram commented, "There is a matter which needs to be discussed." "It <br /> appears Mr. Doherty participated in the vote of last week." "Mr. Doherty does have a <br /> conflict of interest in this matter." "I my opinion, we should rescind the vote of last <br /> week." <br /> Mr. Ball agreed. <br /> Mr. Ball motioned to rescind the Board of Health's vote on July 16, 1998 to adopt <br /> a bulky waste fee schedule, Mr. Cram seconded. <br /> Mr. Ball motioned to adopt the fee schedule for disposal of bulky waste at the <br /> Transfer Station beginning August 1, 1998 as follows. Air conditioners, refrigerators, <br /> couches, mattresses, box springs, upholstered furniture $5.00 per item, all other items <br /> $2.00, items larger than a 30 gallon trash barrel or weighing more than 20 lbs., singularly <br /> or grouped $2.00, propane tanks (empty) $5.00 per tank, more than 30 lbs., $2.00, Mr. <br /> Cram seconded. <br />
