MINUTES August 27, 1998 10 BOARD OF HEALTH
Mr. Cram stated, "Plus it's also been the Board's understanding that BSS Design
and the parties concerned have offered to hook him up to town water if deemed
necessary."
Mr. Eynatian stated, "If we were going to do this right my well would go away
and these lots would have Title V septic systems on them." "That would be in the best
interests of every party involved, including the fixture owners of these houses that are
going to be severely limited by only being able to have a three bedroom house." "I'm
pretty sure it says only one bath but I would have to check the statutes." "They're not
going to be able to upgrade in the future because if I keep my well because anything that
they try to upgrade will go within 100' of me and it's going to be a nightmare so I think
these guys should be negotiating with me, we should find a solution to get rid of my well,
put in septic systems which are current, healthier."
Mr. Cram stated, "If I'm not mistaken based on information that I have received,
Mr. Grotske you can correct me if I'm wrong, most of these stipulations have been
offered in the past, is that not correct?"
Mr. Grotske stated, "They have offered them as of today." "Again, it was
discussed again and they're still into offering connection to town water and a reasonable
fee for relandscaping-his lot."
Mr. Eynatian stated, "I prefer to come back with some type of something worked
out." "That's the first I'm hearing that all I've heard up until now is will pay to hook up
to water that's it, that's all." "And I'm looking for a little bit more than that and it's not
just for me." "I'm telling you guys these old pits are not good."
Mr. McQuaid stated, "If you hooked up to town water they could put in..."
Mr. Eynatian stated, "That's what I want to happen."
Mr. Cram stated, "This offer was made, if I'm not mistaken at least two weeks
ago."
Mr. Ball stated, "I'm open to a motion."
Mr. Ball stated, "We'll have to condition it." "One of the conditions to the motion
will be that the taxes are paid 'on the lots, a revised plan that on-site, off-site wells which
has to be approved by Elias conditioned that you come in with this new plan."
