MINUTES August 27, 1998 11 BOARD OF HEALTH <br /> Mr. Ball motioned to grant the applicant a 50' local variance as shown on the plan <br /> revised August 20, 1998 with the stipulation taxes are paid on lots B, C, I, J, K, L, the <br /> distance from the proposed leaching facilities to abutting wells shall maintain at least a <br /> 100' separation, the engineer is to assume Mr. Eynatians well may be located on each <br /> corner of his property therefore new revised plans must be submitted for each of the <br /> proposed lots designating precise variances from abutting wells to proposed on-site <br /> leaching facilities, revised plans shall be approved by the health agent and said lots shall <br /> not exceed three bedroom leaching capacity, Mr. Cram seconded. <br /> APPOINTMENT: Greenwood Dev. Group - Housing Inspection <br /> Mr. Tony Gargiulo, representing Greenwood Development Group, was in <br /> attendance for this scheduled appointment. <br /> Mr. Gargiulo stated, "For some reason I never got a call about the windows or <br /> anything else." "I have no problem with the inspection, one window has to be repaired, <br /> the other windows there is swelling." "My problem is this, I sent a carpenter there and the <br /> tenant was so arrogant and had attitude problem." "He was caustic, antagonistic and had <br /> a huge dog." "My carpenter came back to me and said he wouldn't work there anymore." <br /> W. Evans stated, "I was requested to make an inspection by the occupant Mr. <br /> Borax." "They specifically identified problems with windows and that they had been cold <br /> in the wintertime so I went out there and made out this inspection report." "The house <br /> was clean and neat and well kept up except the casement type windows which swing out." <br /> "In most cases the hardware would not allow them to open and close properly." "As far <br /> as the politics thing, as to who likes who and who doesn't like who, this has nothing to do <br /> with that this only has to do with the windows." <br /> Mr. Gargiulo stated, "I need the tenant to keep his dog away so my carpenter can <br /> get in." "There is a date on the order, I needed that date extended." <br /> Mr. Ball motioned to extend the order 30 days, Mr. Cram seconded. <br /> 3.) Emergency Failure Certification, 685 Maushop Village - Mr. Evans relayed, "I <br /> inspected the site and found the cesspool full." "There was evidence of overflow." <br /> Board members forwarded their signature's to the "Emergency Repair <br /> Certification"form. <br /> 4.) RecWtion,for Dr. DeMoura- Acknowledged. <br />
