MINUTES July 15,-1999 6 BOARD OF HEALTH
variance from the soil absorption system to the well at lot 39 Birch Way. Mr. Doherty
seconded the motion.
Dino's Update
Mr. McQuaid stated, "I suggested that Dino enter into a consent agreement with the
DEP and the Board of Health to make necessary adjustments to his septic system to
accommodate the outdoor seating. I also re-worked the figures using every possible
barstool as a barstool and not a dining room seat to try to reduce the flow. Even that
didn't work. The bottom line is that his septic tank is not properly sized for what he's
got now let alone the outdoor seating. His grease trap isn't adequately sized. When he
expanded Dino's Sports Bar we made him activate the reserve area. He had a primary
leaching and a reserve leaching in place. The tank size needs to be increased and so
does the grease trap size."
Being no further business. Mr. Cram motioned to adjourn this meeting at 8:33 p.m.
Mr. Doherty seconded the motion, all agreed.
I
Respec lly.submitted,
j Lu carton, d istra 've Secretary
I
i
