MINUTES September 22, 1999 5 BOARD OF HEALTH <br /> 5. Fee Waiver Request - Leisure Services & Kiwanis Club <br /> Mr. McQuaid stated that there are non-profit organizations requesting a fee <br /> waiver request for the OctoberFest 1999 event. The organizations are Leisure <br /> Services, Kiwanis Club, Chamber of Commerce, Beautification Council, <br /> Mashpee Youth Football/Pop Warner, and Boar's Head. <br /> Motion to Waive Fees: <br /> Mr. Cram made a motion to waive the fees for above organizations for the <br /> OctoberFest 1999. Mr. Ball seconded the motion. Motion Passed. <br /> 6. Human Services Membership Appointments <br /> A memo was received from Louise Patrick, Mashpee Human Services, noting the <br /> recommendation for two new Human Services Committee members as Mary <br /> Scanlon and Mary Anne Hendricks. <br /> Motion to Appoint Members: <br /> Mr. Cram made a motion to appoint Mary Scanlon and Mary Anne Hendricks to <br /> the Human Services Committee. Motion seconded by Mr. Ball. Motion Passed. <br /> 7. Post-Closure Landfill Monitoring Plan <br /> Board acknowledged. <br /> 8. Variance Requests <br /> Variance: 89 Horseshoe Bend Way <br /> Applicant is requesting a variance for 89 Horseshoe Bend Way. Applicant is <br /> requesting a variance of 7'for the proposed soil absorption system from the <br /> paper 30'wide way. Proposed system will be 3' (T variance/10' required) from <br /> the paper 30'wide way. <br /> Motion to Grant Requested Variance: <br /> Mr. Cram made a motion to grant the Variance Request as noted above for 89 <br /> Horseshoe Bend Way. Motion seconded by Mr. Ball. Motion Passed. <br /> Variance: 95 Horseshoe Bend Way <br /> Applicant is requesting a variance for 95 Horseshoe Bend Way. Applicant is <br /> requesting a variance of 4' from the septic tank/pump chamber off the unused <br /> 30'way and a variance of 10'from the distribution box off the 30'way. The <br /> septic tank/pump chamber will be 6' (4'variance/10' required) off the unused <br /> 30'way. The distribution box will be zero feet (10'variance/10'required) off the <br /> 30'way. The soil absorption system will be located within the 30'unimproved <br /> way (noted on letter). <br /> Motion to Grant Requested Variance: <br /> Mr. Cram made a motion to grant the Variance Request as noted above for 95 <br /> Horseshoe Bend Way.
