MINUTES October 28, 1999 5 BOARD OF HEALTH S. Variance Requests Variance: 105 Timberlane Drive Applicant is requesting a variance for 105 Timberlane Drive. Variance Request is for a 6' sideline variance from the proposed on-site leaching facility to the sideline and a 20'variance from the proposed on-site leaching facility to the edge and wetlands. Mr. Stephen J. Doyle was representing the applicant. Mr. Doyle stated that they cannot get 100 feet from the wetland and are, therefore, requesting a variance of 20 feet. Mr. Doyle presented the plans which shows that they are proposing the installation of a denitrification unit. Mr. Ball noted that this was shown in the plans; however, it was not noted in the cover letter. Mr. Doherty made a motion that the Board of Health grant the variance to install of a FAST denitrification unit and grant well to septic distance variances pending revised plans and cover letter delineating precise distances from the proposed on-site leaching facility to abutting wells. Motion seconded by Mr. Cram. Motion Passed. Variance: 31 Mohigan Avenue Applicant is requesting a variance for 31 Mohigan Avenue. Applicant is requesting a variance of 36.8.' and 37.2' for installing a septic system within the required 150' of neighboring wells. The wells in question are exactly 113.2' (requesting a 36.8' variance) (35 Mohican Avenue) and 112.8' (requesting a 37.2' variance) (4 Nohono Road) respectively from the proposed septic system. Mr. Cram made a motion to grant the variances requested as noted above for 31 Mohigan Avenue. Motion seconded by Mr. Doherty. Motion passed. Variance: 55 Uncle Henry's Road Applicant is requesting a variance for 55 Uncle Henry's Road. Applicant is requesting a variance of 31'from the proposed soil absorption system to the well servicing house #52. The soil absorption system will be 1 19' from the well (150'required). Applicant is requesting a variance of 45' from the proposed soil absorption system to the well servicing house #31. The soil absorption system will be 105' from the well (150' required). Applicant is also requesting installation of a FAST denitrification unit. Mr. Cram made a motion to grant the variances requested as noted above for 55 Uncle Henry's Road. Motion seconded by Mr. Doherty. Motion passed. Variance. 92 Cayuga Avenue Applicant is requesting a variance for 92 Cayuga Avenue. Applicant is requesting a variance of 17' from the proposed soil absorption system to the well servicing house #83. The soil absorption system will be 133' from the well (150' required).
