MINUTES July 20, 2000 6 BOARD OF HEALTH <br /> 18 Saxony Drive <br /> The liquid level in the tank is above the outlet pipe, therefore the system is in <br /> failure. A new pit off the distribution box as per plan is to be installed. <br /> Board members forwarded their signatures to the Emergency Failure <br /> Certification form. <br /> 38 Ships Rudder Drive <br /> The leach pit is full and anew pit and distribution box are to be installed as per <br /> plan on file. <br /> Board members forwarded their signatures to the Emergency Failure <br /> Certification form. <br /> NEW BUSINESS <br /> a. Human Service Coordinator A ointment <br /> Board members signed the appointment form for the Human Services <br /> Coordinator. <br /> b. Massage regulation <br /> Ms. Warden submitted a revised Massage Regulation for Board approval. <br /> Mr. Santos motioned to approve the revised Massage Regulation. Mr. Doherty <br /> seconded the motion. Motion passed. <br /> C. VOC testing <br /> Mr. McQuaid stated that the June round of VOC testing of surface waters came <br /> out clean with satisfactory a-coh counts. <br /> Board acknowledged. <br /> d. Maushop Village Barr <br /> Mr. McQuaid submitted a letter to the Board from Ken and Beth Barr regarding <br /> the relocation of the leaching field at 831 Shore Drive West. The Barrs' <br /> purchased a house in Maushop Village and had the lot surveyed and discovered <br /> that the emergency repair of the septic system shows that part of the leach field <br /> is off of their property. She owns to the street and a letter from New Seabury <br /> also states that they won't object to this situation since nothing will ever be <br /> built in the street and that, in fact, it is an unpaved walkway. Mrs. Barr isn't <br /> satisfied with that and wants the Board to do something about it. <br /> Mr. Doherty motioned that due to the fact that the property owner technically <br /> owns to the center of the street and, therefore, the system is technically not off <br /> the property, the Board of Health sees no need to modify the system or take any <br /> action to remedy this particular situation and that the Board would not hold <br />
