MINUTES November 30, 2000 4 BOARD OF HEALTH <br /> 19 Lisa Lane <br /> Ms. Warden indicated that the cesspool is full and should be replaced with 2 <br /> 500-gallon drywells with 3' of stone. <br /> Board members forwarded their signatures to the Emergency Failure <br /> Certification form. <br /> 12 Barbary Circle <br /> Ms. Warden indicated that the leach pit is full and that the installation of 3 <br /> 500-gallon drywells with 4' of stone was necessary. <br /> Board members forwarded their signatures to the Emergency Failure <br /> Certification form. <br /> DISCUSSION <br /> a. Air Quality_Testing <br /> Ms. Warden informed Board members that the lower level of town hall was <br /> tested for air quality and that Barnstable County Air Quality Specialist Marina <br /> Brock would be forwarding a memo to the town with the results. <br /> Board acknowledged. <br /> b. December Meeting Schedule <br /> Discussion took place regarding the Board's meeting schedule for the month of <br /> December. It was decided that the Board would meet on December 14th and <br /> December 28th. <br /> C. Elias McQuaid <br /> Ms. Warden updated Board members on the condition of Health Agent Elias <br /> McQuaid. She requested that the Board support her in her request for pay <br /> differential from November 15, 2000 until Mr. McQuaid returns to work. Board <br /> members agreed. <br /> OLD BUSINESS <br /> a. Site inspection with DEP - 135 Route 130 - DiMaggio property <br /> Mr. Doherty stepped down from discussion on this matter. <br /> Ms. Warden informed Board members of actions taking place regarding Mike's <br /> Service Station at 135 Route 130. She stated that Fire Chief George Baker, <br /> Building Inspector Bill Hauck and the Strike Force from the Department of <br /> Environmental Protection had inspected the site recently. The inspector from <br /> DEP,'Spence Brennan who is the Section Chief, is going to forward a memo of <br /> his remarks from the site. Michael DiMaggio provided a bill of lading to the <br /> Board of Health for the removal of the soil. When they were on the site, there <br /> were sections of foundations on the lot that Mr. DiMaggio said he was bringing <br /> to Thornberry Circle for fill. He was told by Mr. Brennan of DEP that that it <br /> had to broken down to less than 6" in diameter or broken all the way down to <br /> an aggregate mixture.
