Krantz, Esq. had failed, her letter dated November 3, 2000,
addressed to Boca Raton, Florida was returned "unclaimed. ,"
John Doherty suggested Ms . warden inquire of the DEP as to
the proper procedure in this matter as the property appears to
have been abandoned.
Report-Containers
The Chairman deferred to Ms. Warden who reported J&L Hauling
Company had been contacted and asked to empty the tin and glass
(colored) containers to which they agreed. Due to the
unsatisfactory condition of the glass container to hold its
contents properly, it was agreed the glass/tin containers be
switched. Town.
i
Mr. Cassenelli, the Transfer Station Contractor has been
informed of the situation. Ms. warden further suggested to him
that the recycling area be monitored on a daily basis in an
attempt to avoid future contaminations. Ms. Warden considered
his response to be unprofessional .
Ms. Warden suggested the Board forward a certified letter to
Coastal waste Management with a copy to the Board of Selectmen,
stating contract violations resulting in additional charges
incurred to the Town, request for reimbursement thereof and
-5-
