17 <br /> Select Board <br /> Minutes <br /> February 24, 2025 <br /> PUBLIC COMMENT (continued) <br /> Richard Klein of Ashers Path questioned Pickerel Cove, an item on the Select Board agenda in Executive <br /> Session that did not involve comment from the CPC. <br /> OLD BUSINESS <br /> Review of Recommendation for Alointment to the Board of Health—Dennis Ring,,Member,At-Lggg.: <br /> The Select Board met with Dennis Ring, a candidate for the open seat on the Board of Health as a Member <br /> At-Large. Mr. Ring discussed his interest and qualification for membership. Mr. Ring has experience as an <br /> engineer and licensed building official in the Commonwealth. When asked about the Flow Neutral Bylaw <br /> Mr. Ring indicated he would most likely review matters and conditions on a case-by-case basis. In concern, <br /> Mr. Ring was encouraged to familiarize himself with this bylaw. <br /> In accord with Policy No. 1, all necessary paperwork was in order for the respective appointment. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Cotton to appoint Dennis Ring to the Board of Health as a Member At- <br /> Large. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman O'Hara. <br /> VOTE: 5-0. Native,- Land 1. - -... !, <br /> Paula Peters, a member of the Native Land Conservancy requested the Select Board support the renewal <br /> application for a Temporary Sign Permit to announce the annual Honor the Earth Fair. Last year, the event <br /> was sponsored with the Mashpee Wampanoag Tribe Natural Resources Department and was a huge success <br /> with over 30 vendors and 350 attendees. <br /> The signage; (2) '30' and(10) 18"x24"would be placed in the same locations as written prior to the event <br /> and promptly removed on April 13,2025. <br /> Motion made by Selectman O'Hara to approve the Temporary Sign Permit of the Native Land <br /> Conservancy; 28 Center Street,Mashpee for the annual Honor the Earth Fair. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Weeden. <br /> VOTE: 5-0.
