Article 47. To see if the Town will vote to amend the Town By-laws by <br /> adding thereto the following: <br /> "Section' 2.13.5 Members appointed to a board, committee, or commission, <br /> wherein the term of office is not statutorily designated by the General Laws <br /> of the Commonwealth shall be subject to removal from office by the Board of <br /> Selectmen if the member is absent without just cause from three or more <br /> successive meetings and a majority of the other members of the board, committee <br /> or commission votes to request the Board of Selectmen to remove such absenting member <br /> and after a public hearing is held by the Board of Selectmen, and a unanimous <br /> vote is taken to remove the member." <br /> so voted <br /> i <br /> Article 48. To see if the Town will vote to amend the Town By-laws by deleting ' <br /> therefrom Article• 4.11 and substituting therefor the following: <br /> The provisions of Massachusetts General Laws, Chapter 40, Section 21D, <br /> providing for the non-criminal disposition of By-law violation, shall <br /> be applicable to all violations of Town By-laws wherein a specific <br /> penalty is provided for said violation. <br /> Whoever violates any of the provisions of Chapter 4 of the By-Laws, <br /> unless otherwise provided for therein, shall be punished by a fine <br /> of not less than $20.00, nor more than $50.00.
