Page 4. <br /> Article 13. <br /> -To see if the Town will vote to raise and appropriate $500 to indemnify <br /> firefighters and police officers for medical and related expenses incurred <br /> as a result of accidents or incidents occuring in the performance and within the <br /> scope of his or her duty pursuant to clause 32 of Section 5, Chapter 40, <br /> Massachusetts General Laws, with said funds to be used in the event the medical <br /> and related expenses are not paid for by the town's insurance policy, <br /> So voted <br /> Article 14. <br /> To see if the Town will vote to accept Sections 6J and 6L, Chapter 40 of <br /> Massachusetts General Laws, which allows the town to purchase or rent work <br /> clothes for employees, :..... <br /> So voted u <br /> Article 15. <br /> To see if the Town will vote to create the full-time position of Town <br /> Planner under the supervision of the Board of Selectmen to assist elected and <br /> appointed town boards and committees; and further, that to establish such a <br /> position, the town amend Appendix A of the Personnel Administrative Plan to add <br /> the following job title, grade and step: "Town Planner, grade 27,. step 1"; and <br /> still further, that the town.vote to raise and appropriate a total of $32,164 <br /> to be apportioned as followsFo $25,177 to the Town Planner Salary Account; <br /> $1,930 to the Medical Insurance Account; $40 to the Grasp Insurance Account; <br /> and $2,517 to the Pension Reserve Fund, and$2,500 to the Town Planner Expense <br /> Account ` <br /> So voted <br /> Article 16. <br /> To see if the Town will vote to create the position of assistant director <br /> of public works who shall be appointed by the Board of Selectmen and work under <br /> the supervision of the director of public works; and further, that to establish <br /> such a position, the town amend Appendix A of the Personnel Administration Plan <br /> to add the following job title, grade and step "Assistant Director of Public <br /> Works, grade 18, step 1"; and still further, that the Town raise and appropriate <br /> a total of $21,260 to be apportioned as follows: $17,537 to the Assistant <br /> Director of Public Works Salary Account, $1,753 to the Pension Reserve Fund, <br /> $1,930 to the Medical Insurance Account and $40 to the Groin Insurance Account, <br /> indefinitely postponed <br />
