Motion carried unanimously. <br /> ARTICLE 46 To see if the Town will vote to raise and appro- <br /> priate a sum of money for Project Help of Cape Cod, said sum <br /> to be under the control of the Board of Selectmen, or take <br /> any other action thereon. <br /> ACTION: Motion made and seconded that Article 46 be <br /> Indefinitely Postponed. Lotion carried. <br /> ARTICLE To see if the Town will vote to raise and appro- <br /> priate the sun of $29000e00 as provided in .the Massachusetts <br /> General Laws, Chapter 40, Section 5, (Clause 39), to help de- <br /> fray the expenses in providing facilities for training rehab- <br /> ilitation and employment of mentally retarded and handicapped <br /> residents of the Town of Mashpee employed at Nauset Workshop, <br /> Inc. , Hyannis, Massachusetts, or take any other action thereon, <br /> ACTION: Motion made and seconded that Article 47 be In-- <br /> definitely Postponed. 160 yes and 50 no-,-Indefinitely Postponed. <br /> ARTICLE 48, To see iftthe Town will vote to raise and appro- <br /> priate a sum of money to help defray the expenses of the Cape <br /> Cod Council on Alcoholism, said funds to be under the control <br /> of the Board of Selectmen* or take any. other action thereon. <br /> ACTION: Motion made and seconded to see if the Town <br /> will vote to raise and appropriate a, sum of $500.00 to help <br /> defray the expenses of the Cape Cod Council on Alcoholism, <br /> said funds to be under the control of the Board of Selectmen. <br /> Motion carried. 151 yes - 58 no. <br /> ARTICL 4. To act on any other business that may legally <br /> come before said meeting. Notion made and seconded that the <br /> Annual Town Meeting at this time, 10:00 p.m. , be adjourned. <br /> Lotion carried. <br /> And you are directed to serve this Tarrant by posting up <br /> attested copies thereof, one at the Town Hall, one at the <br /> Post Office, and one each on the bulletin boards, fourteen <br /> days at least before said meeting. <br /> Hereof fail not and make returns of this Warrant with <br /> your doings thereon to the 'down Clerk at the time and place <br /> of said meeting. <br /> Given under our hands -this fourth day of April, in the <br /> year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and seventy-nine. <br /> George A.
